My first radio love.. heavy sigh...
Such a beautiful soul who lost his wife in an accident 1966 and shortly after 2 sons to a fire...it wasn't until the 80's he began to have a comeback..for only a short while before a heart attack...

I am much older than the two of you and this song (as with many other old classics) brings with it both a melancholy sadness and a feeling of joy at the same time. Roy kept his tone as he grew older, but his voice grew softer. His early recordings are so much more powerful and heartbreaking. If you are going to do another song of Roy's I would recommend 'Running Scared' or 'In Dreams' but please listen to an original early version. The pain in his voice will bring you to tears of sadness as well as beauty. 😭

The Travelling Wilburys were truly a 'supergroup' & it says it all that Roy was an integral part of that collaboration. So many top groups & artists name him & his songs as an influence including Bruce Springsteen, Led Zeppelin & Rush.

I watch many music reaction channels and I like many of them a lot - but I must say that, in my opinion, you are the very best - always genuine and authentic and a joy to watch. It's so apparent you love each other and the music. The interaction between the two of you is lovely, as is the openness to your emotions - especially Andrei because men rarely find that easy to display in front of other people. And then there's Dominika's smile - beautiful.
