Met James’s good friend Nate Perkins in Arkansas in 2021. James was chilling inside his old van, and Nate offered to introduce me to him. I was stoked at the opportunity, but told Nate that I didn’t want to bother James since he was probably resting or whatever. James would later go on to win Worlds that year, all because I decided to leave him alone so he could rest in his van. You’re welcome, James!👍🤣
