Up to 18% of Americans say they've seen a ghost, and there might be scientific explanation for it. A specific tone, called the 'ghost frequency' could create a vibration that shakes the eyes and creates visual distortions.

Ugh, this is an extremely clickbaity video. I clicked on this expecting to see a video of Neil deGrasse Tyson talking about this issue. Instead, I get half a quote that looks like it was taken out of context. Anyway, this hardly explains all paranormal experiences.

2. Where was the scary picture that will pop out at the end of the vid?

No way that's 18 Hz. I've tested my speakers before, they can't play even .1 Hz below 30 Hz and I could hear the "18 Hz" sound

But what if it's very clear in front of you. Saw one in our house, thought it was my sister walking to the kitchen I said hey and followed it then it just vanished when it turned in a dead end corner of the kitchen.

How is this below the range of human hearing? It wasn't that low in pitch, and it was VERY loud.

that is not pure 18 Hz... is it binaural 18 Hz?

This sound didn't make me anxious, and I was actually anxious beforehand because of outside circumstance.
Now I feel... _excited._ I feel like I want to run, and do some exercise. I'm not exactly _happy_ but I'm quite... ready for something, now. Like I'm about to do something incredible.

How come we never see cavemen, dinosaurs,or other past human races that came before us they lived and had souls like us right, why is it always the same thing, now one might say well dinosaurs don't have souls because they are animals, well so are cats and dogs and yet people see their pets after they pass

Fuck!
I was going to sleep.
This was supposed to be the last one.
Now my bag in the corner looks like a ghoul from the depth of Tartarus.

This wasn't 18.98 Hz, if you hear any mains powered equipment humming, that's at 50 or 60Hz, this is way higher
In fact, using an online tone generator i would put it at 300Hz.

You guys should watch Adam Neely's video on this called How to See Ghosts (using Infrasound). You would not be able to experience this phenomenon with a binaural beat since it isn't vibrating your eyeballs, just tricking your brain into thinking you're hearing 18 Hz.
It is mostly a psychological thing. True 18 Hz will make you feel strange, but that feeling could cause some people to think that they are seeing something, therefore it is a trick the brain plays on the eyes rather than the other way around.
