I had a terrible experience with puffy cheek filler that was making me unbelievably depressed and anxious. I found an excellent doctor who dissolved all the filler over 6 months - 1 dissolving per month - a year and a half later I look completely fine and I’m so relieved. My face looks the way it did prior to any filler and it didn’t damage my natural tissue at all. I’m never doing filler again and have been doing natural skin care since that time with good results 🙂🙂

I was getting fillers for 4 years....I would get them about twice a year. I am 61 years old . I stopped about two years ago because I was satisfied with the results. Well...the fillers are still there because I look great! I am still waiting to see how long they really last. I had my eyes and face filled not my lips. I never drink alcohol so that might have something to do with it ...and I drink a lot of water. The fillers changed my life! I really look 30 years

I’ve had no fillers since November 2019. Today, 3 years later, I had my first session of hyaluronidase to dissolve them. I have been embarrassed, stayed home through countless times when I swell up so much you can see through my skin and then I peel and my eyes are almost swollen shut. I thought it was my auto immune disease. Nope. The filler became more distorted. Most days my cheeks looked like a mask, with some good days or a week. Allergies really affected it also. Although I’d had no more fillers, it refused to budge and my eyes would swell to the point they did not match and I could see my own cheeks in my line of vision. Eye doctors couldn’t fix it, prescribed steroids and ointments.
Today I went to the best plastic surgeon in town for session #1 to have it dissolved and do not regret it at all! I cannot believe what a mask it had made on me and it is so refreshing to see my aged pretty little face. No more fillers for me! maybe an expert lift or a laser but no fillers unless it’s my own flesh.

I had my under eye filler dissolved. Within hours I looked so much better. My doctor is conservative and knows what he’s doing. People, if you need filler dissolved, go to your trusted professional and stop buying into the grossly magnified fear mongering in these online communities. Fix your face. You’ll be fine. Many people get a little crazy when it comes to aesthetics. Don’t even get me started on the rhinoplasty communities, for example. Back away from reading the “horror stories” spread in online echo chambers. Live your life, manifest the positive, you’ll be fine.

When i got my botched lip filler dissolved, the lips were deflated but not due to the Dissolver—it was the expansion and swelling trauma. I took collagen/hyaluronic acid pills & lip masks and it went back to normal in a month for me🙂

You are a GOD to me on here!! I trust everything you say!! I initially had tear trough filler 2 years ago, I didn’t actually need it and ended up with instant ‘pockets’ of filler that looked like bags under my eyes (possibly as I was over filled), the aesthetician said I had to wait two weeks until I could have it hylaurandaised away. I did and I was sooo happy that my eyes went back to normal. A year later I wanted to try it again, it was a better aesthetician but I still noticed some lumpy areas that looked a bit noticeable. I waited a year to see if it would subside -I saw a video saying filler can stay for years, so I had it hyalased again, there was a divet which filled right back up with my own hyalaurinuc acid over a week. I now do PRP because of you - only done one session, so I want to do it again and see more results. Xxx thank you for your amazing videos xxx

Dissolving filler is a huge No please don’t ever do it! Mine has ruined my face, it will sink your eyes in bc it takes all the hyluronic acid behind your eyes out, it’s completely hollowed my temples out, made my hair dry and became systemic, I have serious pressure one month out behind eyes and nose.. its literally ate everything out of my face…. I’ve had 3 rounds of steroid shots and am taking antihistamines daily! Please if your contemplating getting this done I just pray my face will go back to normal??? Is there any thing I can do.

I’ve had fillers before and I’ve had them dissolved in specific areas. It only looks bad for about a week or so until your skin starts building up its own hyaluronic acid again.

I did all three skin care, devices, surgery. No fillers.
Good results.
I use good medical grade skin products and every so often lasers on going for maintenance.
I am in my late 60’s but people say I look much younger than my age.
I exercise daily and watch what I eat judiciously, do not drink or smoke and I am happy! 😀.

I believe it’s not the enzyme that is dangerous but it’s the crosslinking of the filler. Once you inject it in the body it quickly becomes a gel ball and it protects itself and possibly wouldn’t dissolve for years or ever but only decreases in volume.
When you dissolve a big amount of filler the highly crosslinked filler decorated with the BDDE agent the body flags it as non self and unfortunately since it is in fact similar to Natuarl HA it attacks natural HA.
That is why people reporting damage report damage regardless of units used, regardless of location injected, regardless of age and regardless of skin quality. The enzyme can damage but the specific damage it does to natural HA should return eventually if used properly. The enzyme isn’t causing the severe effects but it can cause irritation and local deflation I believe.
You have to address this and filler brands must be regulated by how they cross link their filler.
There is no regulation. People should be given immunosuppressants before being injected with hyaluronidase and people with existing immune diseases shouldn’t dissolve to begin with.
If damage from an auto immune response begins after dissolving I think they should immediately start steroid treatments.
That is my theory, I find it to be the only one that explains systemic damage (HA in the entire body) people are describing.
And it’s also why doctors act as if the patients are insane because biologically an enzyme really is a catalyst to only one reaction and it has a limited half life.
Either no doctor ever thought about checking this possibility or no one is talking about it because of the probably monatery loss it could bring.

This is God send for me. I am thankful to you. I have appointment for my first filler and now I changed my mind. I will take my time and May be I will do the bio stimulators later. Thanks again

This is great and super-informative. My face never fully recovered from a heavy dose of hyaluronidase. Also, it seems like the filler wasn’t so much dissolved as it was dispersed and I can now feel it in adjacent areas. And it was used to dissolve hyaluronic acid filler, not any of the bio-stimulators. I’ve actually started PRF treatments to help recover and smooth out my face.

After having suffered of filler fatigue I changed my doctor, dissolved my fillers, and although i am 49 i look 30+ .. I gained my face back, look fresh and regret having fillers from the beginning. My doctor suggested to have threads to repair the fat in my face and was indeed successful. In the meantime of course my face was changing every week and i was anxious. Now i feel wonderful and i am happy again. A patient from Greece !

Thank you for this invaluable video. Just over two years ago, I was over filled in my cheeks. It was my first time using cheek filler. I was left with a dent at the outer corner of my right eye, about three quarters of an inch below my right eye. The doctor (a Top Doc) said she put “too much, too high”. The resulting ridge/dent looks like a rather deep curved hollow at the corner of the right eye, which incidentally was the cheek that was very swollen for about two or three weeks after the injection. The doctor was against using dissolver. She said she “didn’t think she could get me through it”. Given many of the horror stories I had and have read about hylarounadaise “melting” a person’s face and ruining their skin (RealSelf posts), I understood - to some extent - why she wouldn’t use it. I have always taken great care of my skin and I the last thing I want is to damage my skin. Is the risk of skin damage, and/or the likelihood of my body not replenishing its own HA (if I choose dissolver) greater once I reach a certain age? I’m middle-aged already. With the filler having been in my cheeks for TWO YEARS already, can it still be dissolved as easily as newer filler? Or will the filler already have mixed with my own tissues (HA, collagen, etc)?, If so. does that mean i am more likely to have bad results if I go the dissolving route? I’m so scared! At the same time, I have been waiting this out for over two years, without any improvement to the dent. My cheeks are as inflated as they were the day the filler was placed. Also one doctor said we could try to fill the “dent”. What are your thoughts on that?

My face is ageless due to a plant-based diet, exercise and Sun protection. The area I get filler is my neck which gets shallow and thin as you age. Filler in the neck has been the greatest choice for me because I don't have to worry about the face migration issues. Older people have hallow clavicles and if it migrates, it fills in that center dip which has been a bonus. The neck always throws people through a loop in figuring out age because most ppl forget it. I also do the non-RF mirco-needling when applying my Retin-A and it's been my secret weapon. I love becoming more beautiful as I get older. 😍

I just watched Dr Ben Talei’s video about findings during surgery of the SMAS being damaged by hyaluronidase.
I have to say what he’s describing correlates with my experience which I’m still trying to fix 1.5 years later. I have real concerns now about any doctor saying it doesn’t do any damage - this is dangerous. This can ruin a person’s self esteem and actually their LIFE
This isn’t ok :(

I have an appointment to get filler dissolved under my eyes next week. I’m so glad I watched this before, I’m going to reconsider getting it dissolved now as the filler doesn’t look bad, fortunately! Thank you for creating this video

Absolutely amazing . Being in aesthetics myself you said everything beautifully and I love how you explain everything in detail but yet simple enough for patients to understand .

I had my under eye filler dissolved because it drew water..a week later I started doing PLASMA EYE PRF. Best decision I ever made.
