For the meat question (i know i dont make sense), this is my thought: you can eat beef and fish raw completely fine (like beef tartare and sushi for example). Porks can still be eaten when it's a little undercook (like medium, medium rare) while you need to cook chicken all the way through to be edible, even just a little undercook might contain stuff like illness from campylobacter, salmonella and E. coli (sure there is a type of dish in Japan called Torisashi which is undercook chicken but it's still not safe). I mean, just to keep Minecraft "a lil bit" real

The reason Mojang made stonecutters to not deal any damage is because some stonecutters can naturally spawns in villages, and villagers are dumb, so they probably will jumping or walking on top of the stonecutters, and if stonecutters deal damages, lots of villagers will die to their dumbness
