A true actor is the one who lives and breathes his/her character. A true actor is the one who immerses himself/herself into his/her character. However, what sets Jaideep Sir apart is the fact that he has immersed himself in his character while still being so conscious of his original self. He is so aware of his own relation with Hathiram and he has been so thoughtful about how he could enhance Hathiram and make such a well-written character even better for the audiences. I have never seen such a nuanced actor like him. Any words of praise will not be enough to express the kind of admiration that I feel for Jaideep Sir and his craft. I'm beyond delighted to know that he has received the Best Actor award in Filmfare this year. And many thanks to Rajeev Masand Sir for taking such a brilliant interview from such a brilliant artist and bringing it before curious viewers and admirers like me.
