Video idea: RPG games with the most satisfying progression system? You know, games where every change of equipment/every lvl up is like little Christmas and are actually fun to explore.

Expeditions : Rome is also a great surprisingly fun game that is at 60% off.

Would personally recommend Chained Echoes. I did not expect to like it as much as I did.

Midnight Suns was my favorite game of last year. SO much fun. And Eiyuden Chronicle:Hundred Heroes is definitely one of my favorites of this year. Can't go wrong with either of them!

No mention of Skald or Darkest Dungeon as well. Got both of them for around $15.

Thank you Mort! Grabbing WotR and RT Expansions because of this video. Have been waiting for the sale and thanks to you I am in the know the day of. Big thanks.

Looking forward to my 2nd play through (evil this time) for Wrath and might wait for 2nd expansion release for Rogue... we shall see...

I spent several hours scrolling the list of those turn based games on Steam. And ended up buying 18 of them 😮
Dunno if they are good or not. Say, I'm not a big fan of many popular genres (like all anime stuff, rogue-like, jrpg) but I hope they will be ok on my Steam Deck.

All these, and even Tactics Ogre makes me wonder why square enix hasnt remaster or release Final Fantasy Tactics on Steam. I think it has a small but dedicated multiplayer base, I'd imagine they'd be thriving if you can just play online on steam.

Just checked your sub number for the first time in ages and wow, 343k! Great video as always, there's two I've been waiting for them to be less than ten bucks the last one, steampunk circus, and the generation ship that won't arrive anywhere near your lifetime.

I loved Midnight Suns, and I randomly got to meet one of the motion capture developers through a random chit chat waiting at a restaurant. When I told him that I really liked the game, he was so happy to hear that.

I loved the midnight suns but I would love if it had 50% less conversations and got rid of the friendship system.
