Fix The Casting of Frank Stone Crash On Startup/Crash To Desktop (CTD),How To Fix The Casting of Frank Stone Crashing, Freezing And Black Screen On PC
Step 1) Restart Steam, restart PC
Step 2) Try -nohmd in launch option
Step 3) Rename OpenVR folder
Step 4) Try -dx11/-dx12 in launch option
Step 5) Set monitor refresh rate to 60
Step 6) Rename save game files (You will lose all the game progress)
Step 7) Run the game from the game installation folder, try running as an administrator, try compatibility mode
Step 8) If you are using any third-party antivirus like Comodo, Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, bit defender, then allow the game exe to your antivirus program. Windows Security users allow the game exe file to controlled folder access and firewall
Step 9) Perform a clean installation of Graphics card driver
Step 10) Laptop users with dual graphics card: Run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 11) Verify the game files
Step 12) (Skip this step if not able to launch the game)If able to launch the game ,Set monitor refresh rate to 60, turn on/off dynamic resolution, Target frame rate to 60, switch to borderless window/Windowed mode & Lower down graphics settings
Step 14) Update Windows
Step 16) Increase the Virtual Memory:
View Advanced system settings
Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram
Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram
Step 17) Update System BIOS
Step 18) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
