The biggest problem football clubs in England face with stadiums is that a lot are at full potential and cant be extended anymore. New stadiums need to be built to replace existing. Clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea could easily sell out 100k+ capacity every match if it was possible to do so. Even clubs like villa and Newcastle could sell out 75k stadiums. The history of the grounds and what they mean to fans holds a lot of clubs back from building new stadiums.
