Thank you for sharing. Brings tears to my eyes to see such LEGACIES go to waste. They should’ve made it into a museum.

This video honestly made me sad. I actually use to live on this exact train 9 years ago when my father was working for the circus. Seeing the inside of the train again brought back some very good memories. It’s just very sad to see the train abandoned like that :(

I used to live on one of those. By the way, Ringling closed, however it wasn’t exactly because of animal rights. After Feld entertainment (RBBB) won the law suit against HSUS and PETA (proving that the animal rights groups had used doctored footage against the circus) they decided to retire all of the elephants because of the constant hassles. But the public wanted to see the elephants. So the stopped going to the circus. Feld was making money off of the other shows that they own and they were now watching the money from the circus decline. So they closed the show and sold most of their equipment. But keep watching. Ringling Bros is coming back. It will be like all the other circuses and travel with trucks and trailers and RV’s like all of the other circuses that are still working. There are way more circuses than you think. The circus is alive and well. Hope to see you down the road.

I used to live on the circus train. I lived in it for eight years in a six by nine foot room. It was actually a quite amazing life.

Circus World Museum in Baraboo Wisconsin purchased some of the cars and has them at the museum with the logo still intact. When Ringling closed they were 146 years old 1871-2017 I befriended many of the performers from Ringling. Thank you for showing the train

Someone needs to restore those cars and put them in a railway museum. There’s too much history just to be left in the middle of the woods

I used to work and live on the train had some fun on it to tell you one or two stories

Could have been very interesting, but you didn't actually show anything. Go into the rooms, tells us what you see. Show the little details. Stop and look.

Four of those cars were destroyed by fire on that remote track in North Carolina. Earlier NCDOT had listed all its former circus cars for sale but no takers. NCDOT had bought them from Ringling Bros, plus the parts inventory, to add to its Piedmont route rolling stock fleet.

I miss the circus! I wish my kids could of seen what I was able to witness as a child growing up! It's really sad! Where is this train? State? I been to the circus world museum in Wisconsin as a kid and it was probably one of the best memories I have of learning the history of barnum and Bailey! In South Philly my dad used to take us to where they unloaded the train by the warehouse he worked at and see all the performers and animals getting off the train! It was great!
