As a mechanic that dose alignment I don’t see why you would do a check on the floor having it on the adjustment ramp from the start means you don’t have to move it to make adjustments in the repair shop time is money and if your moving cars around from one place to another that takes up time as you can’t rush moving cars around a workshop due to all the hazards

My shop has the cheapest hunter alignment system the readings always bounce back and forth on their own.

Can you clarify for those who don't know, do wheel covers need to be removed? I know they don't need to be removed, but work with a shop full of guys who think they do.
