I usually make a reversible apron so when on side is soiled, it can be turned to the clean side when guests arrive. It was a nice box and great video.

Made the apron first, love it. I agree with you, Fallomn, not what I’d call a small project. Next I made the table runner top, easy and beautiful. Lastly, I also made one of the Cathedral Window pillows, not yet done, but I was so excited one of her stash buster sets was ready to go with a little fabric from my stash. Loved this box! I love the apron panel. I think unlined is just fine! I love the rest of the box also.

Adding a lining will make it sturdier, and more complete. The fabric are beautiful!

Making a lined version would be great as if you get one side mucky and guests come you can switch it round to hide the mess until you change for your meal/ party 🥳

I usually make aprons out of the thicker canvas cotton so I’d probably line it but as it’s so hot in Texas you might want the lighter unlined option.

I love the open gate boxes! I’ve done both October projects. I made the apron unlined but think I’ll go back and add a pocket or 2 to it.

i just made this apron last night.i took the apron and cut it out. used it as a pattern. i had a summer fabric i wanted use and i lined it . honestly i think it is faster lined! it turn out great!

The way I cook needs to be lined. Add a couple pockets too.
