Nah, it’s not her imagination. it’s her aspirations. she literally have to see them and whats why she’s able to turn into a giant-ish after she saw the giants. and went she rely on her imagination, its half baked nika rubber. then luffy got to show her the nika and the punch. she literally mimic his appearance, and she able to mimic the elephant gun because that’s what luffy used to punch saturn when she ask him how to do it right.

I heard bonneys abilities are shape shifting she can shape shift into whatever she imagined but not objects and they also said that bonneys abilities cannot let her imagination come to life just like luffy imagined himself with a goggle only shapeshifting
