WWE 2K22 & 2K23 - Change Custom Wrestler Gender with Cheat Engine (PC)

Only works with the base version of the game. No updates/patches.
Also works with 2K23

Open cheat engine
Change value type to string
Enter full name of wrestler, then click scan or press enter
Right click first result, Browse this memory region or CTRL + B
Press CTRL + 2 to simplify the region
Scroll up until you see 'HFR' on the right
look for the number 8, the number to the left of it is the gender
0 is male, 1 is female.
That's it!

I did it according to the video above. However, since I changed my gender, the changed wrestlers come out. It's enough to upset the screen like a thread. What's the problem with the same copycat?

Have you tried to make it a no DQ match, do everything as you did, but just before starting the match revert the CAW to original gender? In old versions it removes the visual glitches and crashes, but idk how this method fears on newer versions.

Thanks. I was hoping this would work. This doesn't work anymore (for me). I have changed the gender and it glitches out the character. Even if you change the gender after you have made the section before the match starts. The male doesn't fight back. I hope someone can make an updated guide.

I tried to do this and it let me select my custom female, but when she showed up in the entrance her jacket was being all wonky, and in the actual match her hair was stretched all over the screen. If anyone knows how to fix I would appreciate the help, thank you. Have a nice day.

Edit: I've messed around a bit with changing the gender right before a match after I selected my female, and when I changed her back to being recognized As a male her outfits stopped glitching, so maybe it's just a matter of starting a no DQ match, selecting the character and having her be recognized as a male, then changing it right before you begin, then switching it back afterwards. It seemed to work for me but I cannot guarantee 100% success. Either way I wanna thank Jinzo for the video, you've made a problem I've had for years go away so thanks 100 my friend. Can you tell this is my first WWE game on PC?
