Why does Novak get such little respect and support? He's probably one of the greatest, if not the greatest men's player to ever live, he's accomplished more than Roger and Rafa, and still remains one of the strongest and most feared players at age 36. He shows humility on and off court and speaks well of other players and is graceful in defeat. Sure his game isn't the most exciting and he does get rattled on court sometimes but sin't that because he's always, always battling the majority of the crowd? Show the guy some respect instead of saying that he's not loved and has a bad attitude

The thing that kept nole going was his battles with Rafa, now hopefully his battles with Alcaraz will keep nole on tour for a few more years... I have the same thoughts on the Alcaraz win. He needed to win, he needed to win while Novak is still at the top of his game, and it needed to be a battle like it was. This needed to happen to set up the next generation of tennis. Not only for the younger generations confidence, but for fans confidence that tennis is in good hands moving forward. You can't just let the greats age out. The crown needed to be "taken" so to speak.

Good analysis, however its not entirely upto novak. Dont forget his arm and elbow issues with his biggerhitting. Plus the injuries are beginning as bfit as he is. To be the best you have to beat the best.
