WEEKLY SWING TRADE REVIEW FOR 1/26/23 - FSLR, HIMX, IQ, LI

As we do every Thursday, here are the swing trades over the last two weeks.

First Solar, Inc. (FSLR) has been a monster for months since we first put it out there as a swing in July. It has a beautiful trend and is coming out of a wedge. On Thursday it was up another 6.74, or 4%, to 175, on 2.1 million shares traded. It looks to me like the channel top is up around 200-205, which is my next target.

Himax Technologies, Inc. (HIMX) is coming out of an inverse head and shoulders, and it appears the neckline was broken with a move up of 22 cents, or 2.8%, to 8.05, on 1.7 million shares traded on Thursday. There’s a gap in here that needs to be filled. Targets are 9, and then 10.

IQIYI, Inc. (IQ), a really strong Chinese stock, has a nice rising channel. It moved up in a 5-wave advance, and had another breakout on Thursday, gaining 58 cents, or 11%, to 6.35, on 23.8 million shares traded. Looking good. Targets going forward are 8 and 11.

Li Auto Inc. (LI), another Chinese stock, popped out two days ago, pulled back for two days, and on Thursday it really ramped up with a jump of 2.06, or 9%, to 24.98, on 11.6 million shares traded. It looks like it’s headed at least short term to 27, and then I’m looking at 31.

(HROW), Direxion Daily Junior Gold Miners Index Bull 2X Shares (JNUG), Direxion Daily S&P Biotech Bull 3X Shares (LABU), Nine Energy Service, Inc. (NINE), Niu Technologies (NIU), NanoString Technologies, Inc. (NSTG), ORIC Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ORIC), Pan American Silver Corp. (PAAS), Roblox Corporation (RBLX), Replimune Group, Inc. (REPL), Summit Therapeutics Inc. (SMMT), Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (SOXL), Tecnoglass Inc. (TGLS), TG Therapeutics, Inc. (TGTX), Toast, Inc. (TOST), United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), Viking Therapeutics, Inc. (VKTX), and Wayfair Inc. (W).
