When it comes to Mutants? ALWAYS Assume there's more than one, especially with Lurkers, Pseudodogs, and Boars, Snorks too- honestly, just never assume that you’re done after you kill only one.

This is why i always take escort mission from squads of stalker, a free pack mule and serve as early warning of incoming danger whenever i go and never complete the mission lol

I recently just killed a Chimera with Barret M82 (Not the puny .300 Lapua) after a couple rounds, it charged at me. I was backpedaling down the hill but I kept my aim up the crest of it as that's where it'd come from. 3 shots. He died the moment he hit me—the moment the pounce connected. It was very dramatic. Like killing the beast the moment it pounces and get tackled by the now dead beast.

Chimeras and Pseudogiants are the reason why I love having a grenade launcher on my rifles along with a few (3 to 4) grenade rounds. Chimeras kill quick and it's best to drop them just as quickly as they can do to you.

Every other weapon is for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s or lesser mutants that can be killed with any other weapon.

You messed up a sidestep but the wall behind you got you killed

(tldr, you can't sidestep a chimera on the second jump if you are both hugging a wall centimeters apart)

I used to believe that usp 45 was amazing gun for mutants but it really not it’s good only for the beginning of the game only

Funny how do you get so far in Pripyat, at the same second I press some key to quit loadscreen I just spawn 2 chimeras and 3 monolith squads. However, How do you do to change gasmask HUD to looks transparent?
