Electricians TIP: Two hole saws on one arbor to enlarge an existing hole - #shorts

Electricians often need to enlarge an existing hole. Here's a top tip using two hole saws on one arbor.

Ideal for enlarging a hole in plasterboard for a downlight or expanding a conduit entry from 20mm to 25mm. Or if you make a mistake the first time around.

Please note we would normally use a dust catcher for the plasterboard dust - omitted in this video so we can show the hole saws in action.

Top tip, use a Dade to catch all the plaster dust as well as a dust mask to stop you breathing in all the crap! 👍🏻

I used this same approach 2 weeks ago to enlarge a metal doorloxk deadbolt hole. I added a washer between the two blades to offset so the small blade would be aligned before the bigger blade toych the door. Worked perfect.
