Looks like a good option for those living in town with stores, events, schools, etc... close by. The closest store to my house is 7 miles away. I might make it there and back on one charge, but it would take me 30 minutes just to get there at max speed.

Kids are so lucky today. I would have loved to have this when I was in college 20 years ago. Would have been perfect for a late night cruise from the dorm to the campus library.

Where the lower wattage (450w and under) ones struggle is up hills. They still go but they slow down a lot up hills. Buut you know that when you buy it, so informed and all that.

These obviously come in a factory standard make then individual importers add their own brand and Bluetooth to app settings. I bought my exact same model online with the brand XL85 and the app name Tuya Smart. All specs are the same apart from battery and performance. I have motor power 350w and 10ah. Max speed is 20mph (proven) and range up to 22 miles. Air tires although spec says solid. First puncture I will change to solid.
Delighted with it and great nipping around the village at 20mph, fold and jump onto the bus.
Thailand $175.

I thought of getting something like this for a decent reliable back up and for something compact too that I can throw a small bag on and with my back pack this should let me do what I do pretty comfortably and way faster and energy saving that walk8ng around with all that stuff on especially in 90 degrees. I love my primary ebike though I can’t help but start customizing it and adding changing things to improve it make it my own way it’s a whole lot of satisfying fun and does what I need it it’s great and way easier to get stuff and do things myself than a car or even motorcycle. ONLY problem is wet conditions. I do have a regular mtb it’s not the highest end stuff but it’s not bad either at least I love riding all that stuff but that one I can ride in wet weather or places without worry just have to degrease and clean it but whatever it won’t fry anything. I might have to get a regular fat bike for the winter though.
