Over all Anker is the clear quality is almost d same...both are durable..jbl is heavier, less portable with no light effects and not enough EQ....most of all, I can buy 2 Anker and pair it in Stereo for the price of only 1

The JBL boombox has a horrible screechy sound from the audio in the mids and highs
