I will always love the opening theme song for the show - especially the early seasons version.

I was so envious of that stained glass window. It was gorgeous. The scene was so sweet between Grandma and Grandpa.

Wow, it's hard to believe you have done 59 of these "ask Judy" segments! I have seen every one. I always learn something. You do a wonderful job answering these questions. Thank you Judy!

I turn 65 in a few weeks and retired. Each day at 12 noon I have my lunch watching METV and the Waltons. Gosh, I cry everyday at 12 noon, longing for the good old days, when people were normal and had souls. Thanks for the memories and the videos. XOXO

Today's episode was the 25th wedding anniversary and the Walton's getting a telephone. Sweet episode.

I just watched this episode. I have been watching the series again. No show will ever compare to how special it was. I was born in the mid 70s and remember watching as a kid. I appreciate it more now!

I just started viewing The Waltons again on our streaming service from the beginning. I never get tired of watching those episodes. Thank you, Judy, for all the behind the scenes recollections.

My 2 year old granddaughter loves the theme song to the show ☺️. I have a Christmas ornament of the Walton house that I put on my tree every year, that plays the song. This past Christmas, every time she came over, she asked me to push the button on it so she could dance to it ☺️. It was so cute!🎄🎶🏡

Gotta tell you. I found an old board game The Walton's. I had to buy it. I was excited when I found it at an antique store. I'll take very good care of it. Judy you have a fantastic day.

Good seeing you Judy. Oddly enough I thought Grandma's stained glass window was in the back of the house. It never occurred to me it was supposed to be the front of the house. I still watch The Walton's Monday thru Friday 12 noon to 1pm on METV. I grew up with my Mom and great Aunt Charlotte watching the Waltons. My mother was from a large family with 5 brothers and 3 sisters. I always wish I was I only have 1 brother and he lives in new Hampshire and me in Pennsylvania I never see him only at funerals and weddings and the odd Thanksgiving or Christmas.

The stained glass window did show up again in season 6. When grandpa was missing grandma during her hospitalization after her stroke, there was an episode with a flashback to the day he and grandma were dancing in front of it. Grandpa was sitting there looking out of the window while he was reminiscing. A perfect end to all the division caused by the demolition of the Whitley house in that episode.

school on movie sets is like home schooling with 3 hours a day and 180 yearly. It is great that they set you up for your high school. glad you stayed in school.

Jerry Goldsmith was brilliant. He wrote some great memorable theme music--Man from UNCLE, Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as some excellent film scores.

The 'window scene' is easily one of my favorite episodes. Will and Ellen possessed such great chemistry. I am also amazed at Jason's musical ability and performance in the stated episode.
