Hello guys! Today I will try to recreate KFC Donut Chicken Sandwich from Scratch.
Let's find out why is this a thing?
To cook this bad boy we will need:
- flour
- sugar powder
- pink salt
- yeast
- milk
- butter
Lifehack: Before you will start kneed the dough you will need to activate the yeast. Just put them in a glass with warm milk for about 5 or 10 min.
Donuts Dough:
Stir the dry ingredients (flour, salt, and sugar). When your yeast activated mix them with melted butter. Combine wet and dry ingredients and start kneading the dough. Add flour little by little until it gets the right consistency. It will be sticky at the beginning and it may take some time, so don't hesitate to use flour.
Normally it will take you from 10 to 15 minutes. When you feel that your dough is ready just poke it with your finger.n If it didn't rise work on it a little bit more.
Lifehack: Before you will put your dough into the bawl use some Olive oil to prevent stickiness.
Leave the dough for an hour in a warm place. It should rise at least double size. Use any kitchen utensil you have to make the doughnuts. You don't need to be fancy! After you have finished just fried them until they are golden brown.
Your doughnuts should be bready soft and fluffy.
