Hi everyone! Today we are going to speak about one of the most powerful unmanned combat aerial vehicle Bayraktar TB2.

The Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish medium altitude long endurance unmanned combat aerial vehicle capable of remotely controlled or autonomous flight operations. It is manufactured by Turkey′s Baykar company primarily for the Turkish Air Force. The aircraft is monitored and controlled by an aircrew in the Ground Control Station, including weapons employment.

The TB2s is upgraded with beyond line of sight and now uses Turkish engines and ASELSAN's CATS system. ASELSAN is a Turkish company which also makes the more advanced ANKA drone. Turkey's next gen drones Akıncı and Aksungur are nearly ready to be put in action. These are higher altitude and car carry cruise missiles, Air to Air missiles and bombs carriedby F16 like the MK 81 / 82 / 83 etc with Turkish precision guidance kits. The TB2 carries Turkish precision micro monitions MAM-L / MAM-C. Each drone can carry 4 at each missile is enough to wipe out a pack of enemies or any armoured vehicle / tank etc.

The Akıncı and Aksungur can wipe out entire convoys with a single bomb similar to a fighter bomber

The drone is good and very reliable, however it's not some kind of a cutting-edge technology platform because Turkey have much more advanced drones than the TB2. What makes the TB2 a huge success and a game changer in the battlefield is the tactics that the Turkish Army and Air force use in combination with the relatively cheap price tag of the platform.
