Limber is not crushed ice. It’s actually an ice with flavor. Piragua is the crushed/shaved ice and they pour a flavor syrup. But nice job done in the videos! Glad you enjoyed my island.

Im from Puerto Rico and there are a lot of more places to go when you come to travel and a lot a more food, like mofongo, arroz con habichuelas, alcapurrias, pinchos that are the things that puertorricans like to eat more, the beach that you can go are mar bella in Vega Baja, manatees in Manati, crash boat in Aguadilla, flamenco in culebra, that are the most beautyfull beaches in Puerto Rico. When you travel to Puerto Rico dont go only to the old San Juan go to other places too .

We went there last summer. My family enjoyed the Moro fort . So much history to see there. I felt like Puerto Rico is the combination of the best part 🇭🇹 and 🇺🇸. My family go to Puerto Rico every few years. We LOVE it there. Everyone was Super nice. We felt so safe.

I was blessed to have a friend in high school who invited me to go to Puerto Rico with her to visit her Grandma and her Titi and Cousin. I didn't know what to expect before I went. The host family (friends of my girlfriend's parents) were a little nervous when they found out I was coming. "What do we feed her?" they asked. I told my friend that whatever they make, I'll eat--if I wanted to eat burgers and fries, I can stay in the states. Everyone we visited was so warm, loving and welcoming. I immediately fell in love with the island and its people. I also fell in love with the food! And OMG, did I get a chance to eat. Every home we went to welcomed us with hugs and kisses and then invited us to eat. Puerto Ricans are my adopted people. I love the people, the food and the island. If you plan on visiting, don't do the touristy stuff. Go Air B & B and get to know the natives. There's so much more to the island that tourist attractions and shopping. The people are warm, wonderful and friendly. You won't be able to keep from falling in love with the whole island. I was so blessed to be able to stay with a family that called Puerto Rico home. I dream of eating rice and beans, mofongo and bacalao. I want to go back and rediscover the people of this wonderful island!

If you love San Juan, you would love the paradise on other cities, as Culebra Flamenco Beach, Icaco Island on Fajardo, the views and food from the Mountain, the best Dawn you would see on Rincon or a beautiful beach as Crash Boat or Las Ruinas on Aguadilla, there's a lot to see and food to try outside San Juan, like Piñones, Ponce, Arecibo (some Caves)
There's a lot of things waiting for you on your next trip ❤️🇵🇷

Great video. I was raised in PR and you pretty much hit the essentials. Good job! Only one small error: A limber is not liquid. It's basically fruit syrup frozen solid in a cup which you suck on while it slowly melts. What you describe in your video is called a piragua and it's also fruit syrup but partially frozen like a slurpy. Limber by the way was named after Charles Lindberg the guy who flew over the Atlantic in the 1930's. It's the way Puerto Ricans pronounced his name. Again, great job and thanks.

once again, thanks for visiting my home guys! Just a snapple fact. Bacardi is a Cuban rum (Cuban family) made in Puerto Rico. Even we locals consider it Cuban and not Puerto Rican. if you want to try true puerto rican rum get yourself some RON DEL BARRILITO. super famous. my father drinks it regularly.

and damn you where at la factoria which is literally right across the street from taberna lupulo for the best and largest craft beer bar in all of puerto rico for some local craft beer.

cheers, heres to you guys coming back and exploring more outside of the tourist stuff.

Welcome to the island and thanks for coming here. I loved the vlogs. I'm so happy that you tried Mofongo. Is one of the best dishes in the puertorican cuisine. Next time you should try alcapurria and bacalaito (famous street food).

Preparation of alcapurrias:
The dough surrounding the meat, the masa, is made primarily of green banana and grated xanthosoma ("yautía") in most of Puerto Rico.
The meat is often ground beef, such as picadillo, but can be any chopped meat like corn beef or seafood. The masa is refrigerated for several hours to achieve a solid consistency, then filled with picadillo, ground beef, etc., and deep-fried in oil.

I was there in Sept and visited most of the spots in your vid. Brought back the feels and makes me wanna book a flight again. One spot we hit that was amazing was Punto de Vista rooftop restaurant in San Juan, great Mofongo with garlic sauce.

I’ve visited San Juan many times and I have to say you did an amazing job explaining places to visit, what to eat, etc.!! Just to add here are two of my go spots in Old San Juan:
Cafe Don Ruiz - I love the Puerto Rican café con leche and the classic Mayorca ham and cheese sandwich.
Princesa Gastrobar restaurant - for great tasting Puerto Rican food and drinks. It’s also very cute and they sometimes have live music.
