In the video you never connect the support piece to the wall, because it is too long. Is there any other solution than either cutting and threading that support pipe or buying a shorter piece?

i try to install the support for the sprayer and couldnt make it and watched the video and still didnt show that part and finally with all the comments regarding the wall mount support helped me alot
