My favorite part while doing this was putting in all the fog. Fog makes everything better. The worst part was drawing Phantom's stupid hat over and over. i don't like drawing hats.

Phantom of the opera is a musical about 2 guys trying to out simp each other. One getting rewarded and the other getting pissed when he don’t get rewarded back.








And this is why the story is timeless

I seriously need to latch onto this musical and kinda burry my Hamilton addiction for a couple of weeks until I learn to not sing "Aaron Burr, sir" while I'm doing work

2:56 I love how smooth/sly/seductive the Phantom looks when he says _"In all your fantasies..."_

(It even looks like he's slightly kneeling to lean in closer to Christine!)

In the stage show, the Phantom is usually standing tall with his chest out (proud of his "conquest") during this line, but the body language you drew for him seems far more appropriate for the tone and intent this part of the song is meant to convey.

That end bumper screen on the Phantom just slamming his hands down like a cat on a keyboard caught me so off guard. I laughed so hard XD but seriously fantastic animatic! Great work!

OH MY G O D. You did n o t need to go so hard on this "animatic" (this is borderline an animated music video- no I don't take constructive criticism). I haven't watched your content in a while, and I pop back in to watch the literal product of a g o d- Like, that one part where he spins the cane around the three min mark? Immaculate. Literally every time there's lip sync? Delightful. The entire ending of this video? Had me on my Death Bed. Never seen phantom of the opera but would watch this animatic even if it killed me. I'm love with your cinematography and art style! And the character's movement, whenever it's there, is so incredibly satisfying. An animated version of the musical like this would looks so awesome.

The choreography, the scenes, the fluidity of the animation! *chef’s kiss* I’m far from the only person who’s said this, but there aren’t enough animatics for classic musicals, and I’m so glad that more are nos being made.
