Topcoat Finishes

In this video, guild member and Woodcraft employee Milton Miller shows us how to apply topcoat finishes. He covers various finishes, how they are applied, brushes their maintenance, and how to minimize losing finishing products.

He references several finishes by number. For reference, these are as follows:

1. GENERAL FINISH ARM-R-SEAL—VARNISH OIL (Green Can)
2. GENERAL FINISH GEL TOP COAT—OIL BASE (Blue Can)
3. GENERAL FINISH HIGH PERFORMANCE WATER BASE TOPCOAT (Blue Can)
4. GENERAL FINISH EXTERIOR 450 WATER BASED (Green Can)
5. GENERAL FINISH ENDURO—VAR II WATER BASED URETHANE (Black Can)
6. WATER LOX—SEALER/FINISH—TUNG OIL BASED (Brown/Green)
7. SYSTEM THREE MARINE SPAR VARNISH
8. WATCO LACQUERS (Silver Can)
