"The Motivation is whatever it is but the science is good" pretty much the entire human race can't argue this one.

He’s basically saying the scientific community wants to remove BC and AD because the Catholic Church founded and did the math for the most accurate calendar and swap it to BCE and CE, but he’s defending the Catholic Churches naming of the eras of the calendar because they applied the right scientific principles too it and therefore they can name their invention what ever they want because they put the work in and got it right, I hope I got it right.

He was talking about BC and AD vs BCE and CE.

The complete rules for Leap Day is (from wikipedia):
"Every year that is exactly divisible by four is a leap year, except for years that are exactly divisible by 100, but these centurial years are leap years if they are exactly divisible by 400. For example, the years 1700, 1800, and 1900 are not leap years, but the years 1600 and 2000 are."

BC and AD for me, I grew up with that and
it's annoying when things get changed for
whatever reason.

That's why year 2100 will not be a leap year

POV: Neil was asked if he's having a good year so far

A Leap Year occurs every four years unless it is divisible by 100. Those years are not Leap Years unless they are also divisible by 400. That is why in the chart above 1900, 2100, 2200, 2300 are not Leap Years but 2000 and 2400 are Leap Years. This has been going on a long time.

I’ve always used BC and AD, it’s just easier to remember and no need to change it

My dad used to say, "It is what it is, & just wishing for something don't make it so !" 😂 He was born in 1919, survived in WWII, raised a family of 7, and was a good man . Rest in peace Dad .😅😊🤗❤ 🏖Kj in Tampa Bay 👨‍👧

Remember folks science is not the enemy of the religion. It is just an independent ideology and we should be thankful to science 😎😎😎😎

A much smarter calendar would be 13 months of 28 days. Add 1 day each December for 365 days. Add 2 days every leap year.
