Thanks for this! I actually never finished MW 2019’s campaign, since I was a latecomer, and also lost interest somewhere in the middle. I’ve been replaying it but I doubt I’ll finish before this Thursday. I think I’ll stick with the new campaign this time because of the multiplayer rewards, plus it can help me prepare for the multiplayer release next week!!

THE CAMPAIGN MASON! WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

A couple of story beats are missing.

Farah's forces are blamed by Barkov's group for stealing the chemical weapons. Farah is sure that it's Al-Qatal, lead by the Wolf, and not her orginzation, but before giving this information to Alex she makes him assist in taking an airbase from Barkov.

After taking the airbase, she tells Alex the info and he fights through Al-Qatal forces with the help of Marines to capture the Wolf so he can give up the chemical weapons.

He claims he doesn't have anything to do with the chemical weapons threat and is rescued promptly by Al-Qatal.

In a mission to ambush the Wolf leaving the country, Farah's brother reveals he was the one who stole the gas by deploying it on the encroaching enemy, but spares Alex and Farah.

The US government declares Farah's forces a terrorist organization because of her brother's actions and Alex goes AWOL to assist Farah in capturing her brother.

Hadir (Farah's brother) is tracked down to an estate belonging to Barkov. He's assaulting it with the help of Al-Qatal. Hadir is captured by Price and Gaz but reveals his plans to attack Barkov's chemical weapon factory. Hadir is arrested but Price and his team assault the facility according to Hadir's plan.

Alex "dies". There's something in the vents. Farah kills Barkov. The factory is destroyed. Hadir is still a prisoner.

No idea what happens in Warzone, lol.

They should've made a prequel game to the og trilogy instead of rebooting it. There are a lot of interesting back stories to explore in those games. Barry Sloan is the perfect young Captain Price.

COD4 had a meaningful and consistent art style. The maps were hues or green and yellow, and set the tone of loss and sadness. Recent cod maps are a mish mash of whatever that makes no sense.
