I can't believe they brought out Naonobu Fujii's jersey after they qualified for the olympics. Fujii was one of the starting setters for Team Japan and he died from cancer earlier this year. This is amazing

The ticket to the Paris Olympics was a fight not only for themselves, but also to go to Paris with Fujii, who had passed away. I think the ticket they got after overcoming immense pressure is something special. Congratulations Japan. And thank you, Fujii, for watching over them from the sky.

Such an amazing country. I’ve been watching this team for years now. They’ve only gotten better every year. The chemistry in this group, from staff all the way to the reserves is the best in the world. No egos. The hearts are their biggest assets. You can tell when the reserves are in the starters show enormous support. This is their prime. Stand up Japan!!!! Hold this team up. This is history in the making!!! WHAT….. A…..
