'Shark Tank's Daymond John has filed a restraining order against former contestants, following allegations that he's taken over their business, Bubba Q's Boneless Baby Back Ribs. In a statement to ET, a rep for the entrepreneur denied the claims, adding that the legal move comes after 'blatant actions to undermine a business partnership and the legal parameters they agreed to 4 years ago.' The contestants first appeared on season 5, episode 11 of ABC's reality series in 2013.

Just because the person is of the same race as you doesn't mean that they won't backstab you. Especially when it comes to money, there are no such things as family, friends, etc.

Damon harmed this family’s business. The guy he had overseeing the operation of many of his shark tank investments turned out to be a FRAUD. The guy is being charged so I don’t know how he is attempting to turning this around on them. They genuinely wanted his guidance and he dropped the ball. Now he’s playing victim. Wow.

It’s not slander when receipts are presented… it becomes fact.

This man lost his house and his business after he formed a partnership with Daymond. Just cut the check bro and let this man and his family move on with their lives.

Years back Daymond was hosting a tour to speak to entrepreneurs across the nation. There were free tickets and also tickets that cost in the thousands for the same conference. I signed up and went to the conference at a Rosen Hotel. When I walked in, a woman was walking out, expressing to the ticket holders how terrible the experience was. So much so, she was leaving early. I went in, of course expecting to see Daymond John, being that it was his image and name splattered across the advertising/social media for this event. Instead, there were about 5 huge men, dressed in all black suits, sitting at tables in the back of the room. The unknown speaker on stage, was belittling those who entered with free tickets, and giving cash from his pocket to those who purchased their tickets. It was nothing more than this disgusting intimidation tactic and sales pitch to get people to sign up for Daymond's expensive azz "marketing package." They weren't teaching shit, no motivation speech, nada. Oh, and Daymond wasn't even there btw. I stayed for about 10 minutes, listening to a man berate the audience, then left. Never looked at Daymond John the same since.

I think that greed and refusal to take responsibility for own actions are taking the main part of this problem.

These sharks are so freaking greedy sometimes. I hope Bubba gets some type of money. 16 million is too much to be broke

Given Damond’s transgressions about him trying to stockpile face masks during the pandemic to them up sell them at such higher margins. It doesn’t surprise me he does shady dealings

That's why you should struggle until you make it... Investors will take over your business and kick you out.

When you own your own business, you are an “entrepreneur”. When you add investors who are now “co-owners”, you become an employee. The investors tell you what to do and how to run your business. Folks, don’t fall for that trap. Own your own labor, own your own works…

He definitely shafted them. I can smell the greed and deception thru the screen. I don't feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for the contestant and his family who came to him with their hopes and dreams and trusted him all the while, he screwed them. He'll reap what he's sown.

As a business owner, I completely understand that ur fully responsible for who u allow to invest in ur company. I believe this guy was already doing good business before but wanted a huge boost in sales for his product and he got that, sadly it’s coming to a high price to pay. Sometimes it’s better to just cut ur losses and sell ur shares and move on. It’s a lesson learned and he will make enough to move on and create something new. The little guys are always being taken advantage of by the big guys, it’s how the business world works and how the big guys stay on top.

I believe he is ripping the family off thats why he is trying to shut them up. I hope they prevail. Just greedy and evil.

Daymond is kept on the show so producers can always point their cameras at him whenever an entrepreneur says they’re a “black owned business”.

Turns out Daymond doesn’t really care if you’re a “brother” and just wants to line his pockets, which is of course the point of the show which people don’t seem to get

you always have to remember when a person is more worried about you talking an spilling things about how they conduct business and not really adressing the allegations be very worried.
