If a player needs rest, they shouldn't train. Games should be played if you're healthy. All these people calling for rest are non-athletes.

Too many ball to feet players, not enough transitional in behind run players (poor squad planning), you need them in Europe, likewise with no stupid Inverted Fullbacks (Pep ditched it and won ucl), plus a clinical striker.

We don't create enough chances and lots of possession means nothing if you're not testing opposition keeper.

I was really impressed with their support. Elliott said that we quieted the crowd after the first goal, i actually made a note that i noticed 0 difference between the noise before the goal, during the goal, and after the goal. It was a consistent wall of noise.

We just need to keep it like this and towards the end of the season move to the higher gear. Like how City did us last season.

Replacing Saka with Vieira was the wrong move... we needed a combative Eddie (Jesus to RW) or a Reiss on the Right!

Saka needs to be rested when he keeps limping off before the game even finished in consecutive games. "He's strong, he'll be fine", we keep thinking like that and Saka will break down sooner or later

Its one thing to debate whether or not Saka needs a rest when he plays the full 90 every game and he's genuinely fit.

Its another thing when he's been subbed off injured 2 or 3 games in a row.

The guy is literally injured. If we don't look after him, we'll be missing him for months, and then we're fucked. If he plays even 1 minute for England this month, as a club we are just stupid. Its time to put Arsenal first.

I’m with Tim, Saka could’ve played the final 25 if he needed to play at all. Also, one change per third of the pitch is smart for continuity and rhythm. You shouldn’t change much in the UCL.

Saka is getting no protection from the Refs it’s only a matter of time before it will affect his long term health

Fans speculate and then invest in that speculation as if it can be built on as though the truth has been rationally discovered. When this influences the energy we direct towards the team as supporters it has consequences. For me the biggest threat to us reaching our potential this season is our legacy of disgruntlement as Arsenal supporters.

The reason Saka shouldn't have played vs Lens is because he is our best and most irreplaceable player and Sunday is the biggest game of the season. People calling for him to be rested as he was clearly carrying injuries, have subsequently been proven right.

I would have taken a 3-0 loss vs Lens to guarantee we don't lose on Sunday, the game is infinitely more important.

Normally I agree with your 10 nil prediction buy without Rodri and De Brunye I won't be happy with less than a dozen 🎉

I think the best facilitating (and effective in front of goal) centre forward we have other than Jesus is Trossard, not Havertz

The dual stats a worry. I feel we still grt bullied and with our players we definitely shouldn't. Spurs second half or even after 35?

If Havertz is making runs in training and they hit them then Arteta by now should be getting them doing it on pitch. Even in game. Does enough instructions

It's even worse than you stated, if we won 1 of the 2 games against city last year we would have won the league

Check out Messi first team minutes at Saka age. ? Someone said much less and he started younger and was a one off talent. Eliot is minutes man. I beginning to worry about some Arteta traits. He has done some great things but has repeated same mistakes also. His psychology is kindergarten grade too. He talks rotation but he is not the gambler he thinks he is. City and others can step up with a lot of changes and sure that is about vibes given to the players and judging when to play them.
In Europa these players that came in last year didn't play like they believed they could win starring spot. Saka playing if not limping off 2 in a row before. Not taking him off 2 up at Bournemouth is just cowardice or stupidity. Haaland didn't score goals in that run in btw. 1 in 8. He was rested and taken off quite a bit too. Pep said they wrapped him in cotton wool. He stands about a lot btw. I can play 4000 mins standing still 😂. Haaland injury record now much better since he went to City. We crock everyone . Its all so predictable it not bad luck. Bad luck you don't repeatabley forecast.
Saka may be ok btw. I think he feins injury as its only way to get off lol. Even that doesn't work with knocks anymore so maybe he thought he would go for a hamstring 🤣. Lets hope so.
Their first goal came from us playing back to keeper from their third when not necessary to hold onto ball. That has been a theme at times. Pull them onto us and play through fine if all in tune to it but it looks aimless at times.
Sunday will be interesting. I think lotvof players had it on mind. That is why folk should have been rotated and believed they could actually get a start in Sunday. That is real competition not verbal clichés.

I haven wanted to see saka in the line up the last 4 games or the international games. he has been slowly breaking down since the end of last season.
So were those players Elliot mention playong 13 of 13 game carrying an Achilles problem thatalters the way they run which is put a strain on hos leg muscles.
If he plays against City he won't last the half as they will kick the crap out of him.

We have been horse shoe passing most of the season

I have no faith in this new fashionable fad of using the goalkeeper as an extra outfield player, a goalkeepers primary task is to be the last line of defence not start attacks and this is what they should be judged on, this tactic is too dangerous out of all potential reward and is causing too many goals to be conceded, as Tim noted it has also been quickly found out anyway and so now surely lacks any imperative.
Arteta has upset squad togetherness and destroyed the feelgood factor by dropping Ramsdale for negligible gain, things are unraveling.

We didn't just draw with Spurs and Fulham we drew from 3 winning scores
