I personally consider myself to be lucky and blessed to 'accidentally ' find this great instructor to teach us jazz guitar techniques with so much patience and comforting voice. Thank you and blessings from Japan 🙏🙏

Lots of guitar lessons available on the internet. The bad ones are really bad. The good ones are really good. You are one of the greats!

Perfect example of how to construct both a set of changes, combine with a simple melody, voice it, and play it. I've been waiting for this lesson to pull things together for me for a long time, ty!

I've never seen anyone breakdown Chord Melody like this. Thank you. Apparently, you can teach anyone anything. Amazing lesson.

Adding to the positive feedback here. Teaching theory while making music while giving a practice framework. Was so helpful for me. I'll be watching many more lessons!

Thank you for the great lesson. This is miles away from the theory-burdenned scale tutorials. You are teaching exactly that but by giving us a specific, example line. Much more interesting to practice and inspiring to improvise later on.

Thanks for posting this. About 40 years ago my guitar teacher had me improvising studies like this and I used them for many years as a part of my daily practise. Your lesson serves as a reminder to me to look to what worked in the past. I have been in a musical rut for a while. (I have played for 45 years and still get ruts from time to time.) This lesson may be just what I need to prevent the rut becoming a trench.
This is a valuable study to use on any new song. Or any old one for that matter.
Thank for posting this and helping a tired guitarist get out of the mud. Cheers

Just found this video, after playing as a self taught guitarist, I've always wanted to play jazzy chords with melodies in between that sound good. Now I can!! Thanks. Guess I'm not self taught anymore. Heh heh 😉

Pretty music! It inspired me! I've learned some classical, blues, and rock chords, and I feel like buying a jazz book after seeing this!
