We need more channels like this. The days of every YouTube channel sucking up to Apple seem to be coming to an end. The Pixel 8 seems superb.
I remember when phones used to be conversation pieces (see BlackBerry Pearl, Samsung Galaxy Note 5). I think software innovation may be the new conversation pieces. We'll see. Thanks for this review, leaving me wanting this phone, David. Cheers.

I have th pro 8 since yesterday, one major flaw to me, if you want to use se the magic editor tool on your pictures, the 'back up function' must be 'ON' . I don't want my pictures in the cloud, and I also don't want another monthly fee you can't get rid of in the future... This option should be available without the back up function'ON' as I bought the phone and paid quite some money for it limiting functions based on what extra subscriptions you take is really sad.

iPhone 13 Pro / Nothing Phone (1) owner here. I was tempted to add Pixel 8 Pro in my collection but Tensor G3 is not efficient. Google still do the same phone since Pixel 6 series. I love the new design and new screen but it’s not enough
