"uh-uh joint" is very cute. Thanks for this! I have scoliosis so I love learning more about vertebrae and how the spine works

How many started turning their necks to see if they could go past 90°? 😂😂😂 ✋🏻

I recently brought in my full disarticulated medical skeleton that I have for my own work at home to my anatomy class so they could have practice working on a real skeleton instead of just looking at diagrams. One of my favorite things I talked about was showing the atlas and axis to people and showing how it rotates like that.

I can turn my head to where my chin goes behind my shoulder which is cool. I don’t do it at all unless I bring it up in a conversation because my face gets really red while doing it, that is because the cutoff of blood flow.

Good to see. I had terrible headaches and migraines for almost 17 years. I had ten hyperbaric oxygen chamber sessions which unlocked.some tissue damage in my neck and it was.doscovered that I had a lump...I thought it was a tumor but it was my C2 which was out and was pinching my spinal cord causing dizziness and headaches and bladder issues. The chiropractor worked on it every week for a few months. Symptoms have calmed down but still sore and some limited motion .

Good point, so turning the neck too much may hurt the spinal cord 😱
