American Universal healthcare would help, a lot. Many Americans do not have insurance to even get a colonoscopy in the first place.

1:08 Yeah. [Colorectal cancer] is diagnosed mostly between the ages of 65 - 74 year olds because doctors don’t screen for it sooner. DUH. 😂

0:55 _”[Colorectal Cancer] is the 3rd leading cause of cancer deaths for both men and women. And a lifetime risk of being diagnosed with it at 4.2%.”

What he leaves out is that lifetime risk of actually DYING of colon cancer is only 1.6% for men and 1.5% for women.

The lifetime risk of an American dying by car accident isn’t too much different being 1 in 93. Yes, the risk of DYING of colon cancer is nearly double, but not dying INSTANTLY like in a car accident.

What he also fails to acknowledge is an estimated *70, 000* individuals (0.5%) experience complications related to to colonoscopy including perforations. This figure surpasses the total annual deaths from colon cancer by *20, 000.* 😂
