Jesus did not die on the cross to create a religious system or traditions. Jesus died so that we can have a Personal relationship with Him. It is every Christian's responsibility to hear from the Holy Spirit who dwells in you as to what God is saying and doing. Right now, He has spoken and demonstrated that He is dealing with individuals and nations so that His church can bring in the last great harvest. If you are looking for doom and judgment, then you are missing what He is doing and will not be doing your part. Jesus said to do the work while it is still day and to occupy until He comes. I am a troubled christian (still trying to find resolve) but…honestly we have to overlook at the scriptures and put aside the superstitions and fears of the ‘end of the world’ or ‘judgement day’. Call me foolish but I believe that fear is getting the better of us. We are still children. Yes the lord is trying to save us. Yes, its coming but…honestly, being afraid of whats coming isn’t gonna help at all, but all we needed is just a little prayer, a little confessions to god and you are set for forgiveness. But the thing about fear is that it gets to us. And not just that, doubt, anger and frustrations with god. Its unfathomable beyond belief to feel it but god…god understood us better than we know ourselves.
