How to prevent Razor Bumps #SHORTS

having bumps can present as mild skin irritation to more extreme acne like breakouts and raised scars (pseudofolliculitis)

👉🏻For mild cases
1. Prevention with weekly exfoliation (I prefer chemical over physical)
2. Regular use of BPO cleanser
3. Moisturizing and/or using hydrocortisone cream to soothe skin immediately after are helpful

👉🏻For more severe cases where firm raised bumps/scars have developed, see a derm!
1. Topical retinoids may help reduce the bumps, along with oral antibiotics and intralesional steroid injections
2. Would consider other methods of hair removal that are less traumatic.

👉🏻Make sure to shave in the direction of hair growth. Use shaving cream and razors with sharp blades, ideally single-bladed or electric razor. Try to avoid shaving same area more than twice

Is this the damned part 2 of that part 1 video where you didn’t even bother to put the link for the part 2 video in the comment or description?

Is it okay to use hydrocortisone scream after shaving every time? I try to shave my face every other day but I heard hydrocortisone cream can lead to skin thinning is that true?
