I practise my craft for 15 years, practised for hours each day, got pretty damn good to it compared to my "competitors", but never got to the point of getting good paychecks for it. there comes a time where one man can't compete with labels, distributors, publishers to reach to the point of even earning a living. you really have to be blessed with the right people, because the love of your audience is not enough to earn you some real dough. maybe it's just me, but what keeps me going is not the possibility of dough, but to receive the joy of creation and the love of the people.
