I really love how this song can be interpreted in two ways when you hear the first part about "Why can't you just let me be" and whatnot, as if he's speaking to someone that doesn't understand his pain.

Then the last verse states "My mind is like a haunted prison cell with my ghost". It's clear that he's talking to himself here — battling thoughts after thoughts just to keep himself floating.

There's not many artists I see that really portray the perspective of a survivor. Much respect for Nathan for this incredible piece ❤

Love it so much keep it up your music keeps me holding on with everything I’m going through with my health conditions and mental and depression issues due to health conditions at age 26 my health is declining so bad in and out of testing medication constantly and I’m just to tired and drained dealing with doctors and appointments and I listen to your songs when I can’t sleep because how much pain I’m in and the pain makes my depression worse and can’t sleep toss and turn and I put all your music on with headphones and helps me sleep so thank you

I've just been feeling so so anxious about living forever. It's been hell. Your music has helped a lot and i feel like we know each other even though we have never met.
