HO Scale New Haven Railroad Layout Update

Welcome to Layout Update #124. I continue my backdrop work on River St. This time I decided to adjust the height and scales of the previous backdrop with some great success. I was able to create a realistic city scene with some 3D building photos. Enjoy!

Really nice how you stacked the buildings and created depth of scene. I actually just posted a video on a backdrop I purchased from Larc products and installed. I have an area of my layout where there is only a 5" space. I like you, have a few building flats I will use, but I was thinking of doing the same thing that you are doing with the cut-outs. Looking forward to seeing how you will create a more 3-dimensional look with some of them. Thanks for sharing.

The smaller windows look much better!

The LARC CDs are also available on flash drives for those of us whose "modern" PCs lack a [censored] CD/DVD drives. [grumbles]. 😢

Just a thought, but after you mount them, paint the edges the same color as on pic. Years ago, they would paint the edges in black. I hate that.
