Hello everybody its John back with another video

Now it’s a quick one this week on account I have had an issue with the car that I spent a good few hours and days trying to fix, so normal service will be resumed from now but that problem has been with the theatre screen.

I’m sure this video will come in handy for people thinking about getting a Tesla and those who already have a Tesla but if you’re not sure what the theatre screen is then it is where you will find you’re apps such as Netflix and Youtube.

I must admit, when I got the car, I didn’t think that I would use these features that much, if at all but actually I have found them very useful when charging the car or when I am waiting for my daughter to come out of her gym class, combine the big screen with the great speaker setup and you have a convincingly good setup to watch your favourite shows on.

But what if they randomly stop working? What do you do if the theatre screen decides to go blank and the apps disappear?

I had this issue now for a week. I am still able to open the apps with voice command. I sent a request to Tesla for service appointment, thought they might fix the issue remotely. But came back to YouTube to check if there is a solution and here it is. It worked! I am going to cancel my service appointment 😀.

That's great. I was showing a friend the features of the car and the theatre screen was blank. I felt such a fool as I was trying to impress my friend. I followed your instructions and its fine again. Better head back to my friends place. Thanks a lot for posting this.

Just had the same issue, so cancelling my Appointment with Tesla now you have provided the Fix, Thank You. You'd think a 2022 Tesla would have had this bug fixed by Now!! Cheers

I had problem when the car is parked, i clicked on youtube icon, nothing happens. So by letting the system reboot, problem solved
