Assassins, wife-killers, stalkers and mass shooters. How can you use intuition and pre-incident indicators to predict violent behavior? I review security expert Gavin De Becker's 1997 book "The Gift of Fear".

A psychiatrist once said that there are two basic emotions love and fear and sometimes they both get mixed together

Bro I lost over 30lbs doing the one meal a day. I stopped drinking sodas and cut out the chocolate. I’m back on my old boxing routine training with guy’s half my age. I’m super sore and tired but next year I should be exactly where I want to be. Thanks flint homeboy for the example and keep up the great work brother!🫡

If you listen to what people say, they will tell you what they are going to dol But you have to really listen.

Oh this book sounds very interesting 📚 currently enjoying Razorblade Tears. Highly recommended for the suspense, true crime, thriller readers. Well this one in particular it’s possible they’ll make it a movie.

That books sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out.

I have a related book. It's entitled "The Truth About Lying: How to Spot a Lie and Protect Yourself from Deception", by Stan B. Walters.
Stan trains police, military personnel etc. in the subject. I've read the book twice. It's made me a lot quicker to discern whether people are being truthful, when it really matters. As he says, though, we all lie, but that can be to protect friend's feelings etc, so he advises that we don't try to psychoanalyse friends or we won't have any.
I coincidentally met a customer at my work, who just happens to work in the security field. He said he knows Stan and affirmed that he really does know his stuff.

Another must-have book is "Kidnapping and Abduction: Minimizing the Threat and Lessons in Survival", by Brian John Heard.
He too works in the field of the book's subject. I have a hard cover copy of the book (I don't even know if it's available in soft cover). It's pretty pricey. I paid about AU$70, but it's worth every cent.
