the wii home menu is still probably my favorite menu of all time with all the tv channels and the nice calming music in the back i loved it and seeing all the games and the animations for them my second favorite would be the 3DS menu

I love the wii so much for Mario games, Sonic games, House Of The Dead 2&3, and also Guitar Hero games too with the Guitar controllers and the Drum kit instead of batteries you just put on the Wii Remote easily.

When I got the Wii when I was little... Best years of my life until we sold it. We got the switch a year or 2 later but I miss the wii

Forgot that for some models, it was backwards compatible with GameCube games

Oh yes the forecast and News channels the only two that are permanent and you can't remove after they stopped supporting them so you have to drag them all the way to the last screen on the Wii home menu so you don't see them anymore

The Wii is awesome. Same with the Wii U, Switch, and pretty much every Nintendo system.

Shooters were great on the Wii when done properly. Games like The Conduit series are what eventually led to the modern implementation of gyro controls.

Also the Wii version of Black of and other CoD games had the ability to tilt behind corners like on PC, while the other console ports did not.
