the MWIII (and VG) BP50 clearly isn't mechanically based on the real F2000, they've done this before like with the FR 5.56 in MW2019 being gas operated. the normal BP50 doesn't have space for the internals of a normal F2000 to begin with, this conversion just emphasises that. its presumably like the TKB-022PM internally, this is also probably why it lacks the forward ejection.

unsurprisingly the game set in a fictional universe with stuff like zombies (yes zombies is canon) has fictional, yet heavily inspired, guns.

This is why I haven't bought a COD game in like a decade. I'd like to say they cared more in the past, but they've haven't known their shit since even the MW2 days (most guns in that game are based on airsoft models). I guess I was just a young kid and didn't really know either, but now that I know I can't unsee it. That and the whole "propaganda" thing, the US government uses these games as recruitment tools, encouraging children to enlist.
