I bought a 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra 10th Anniversary aka Terminator Cobra. It was the cheapest one in North America that was running, has a clean title, needs nearly nothing, and can be driven and enjoyed as is. In this video, I'm finally getting rid of the monster truck stock stance at Ivan’s Auto Service by installing Maximum Motorsports coilovers, caster/camber plates, Makers Garage scuff plates, SVE 18x9 18x10 Cobra wheels, and Continental Tires. I’m also installing a Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter. Thanks to Summit Racing, Borla Exhaust, Maximum Motorsports, and Steeda for supporting this build series.

Subframe connectors should have been a mandatory install. They make a huge difference, more than the coilovers, and are cheap. Biggest change to ride IMO. Car is more solid, less creaks and pops. A good person welding them in while on its wheels is needed though. SN95 owner since 2004. I do have to say that was great of Maximum Motorsports to help you out. One of the best companies out there for the SN95 platform.

Subframe connectors would be my first mod. A rigid chassis improves nearly every aspect of ride and handling

I usually don't love chrome rims but these have always been the exception. Sick.

I never thought I'd see the day where I would get a 10% discount on my Ford Lightning's Certificate Package. It was on my to-do-list. Thank you.

Take a drink when Jakub says "Maximum Motorsport" 😂. Love the level of gratitude you give back to the sponsor dude. They're definitely appreciated by the viewers. Also I run SVE wheels on my 19 GT/CS. I've bought 7 wheels so far bc I curbed one, had whole car ceramic coated, and curbed 2 again recently. Black is very hard to hide rash and I take pride in how the car sits since I daily drive it 4000 miles or less a year since I don't drive often. It's an expensive oopsie for sure. Never taking my car downtown St Louis ever again.

The spinning nut on the IRS has a small collar with a “tail” that stops it from rotating. Sometimes they spin and the tail breaks off. If a small piece of metal fell out it was that tab. You really should remove that bolt as it will gouge the tire in many cases. I had the same issue and used a chisel through one of the holes in the bracket to hold the nut in place and get the bolt out. After that you need to either reattach the tab by welding or add one. Either that or get a new nut but iirc they are only available used.

I love the 18" Cobra replicas. Those are my favorites. Great choice!

I'm so happy you went with those wheels. You're doing it right!

When I was growing up one of my baseball coaches had a drop top 5.0 with svts and to this day it was one of the best combinations ever on a 5.0

Those are THE wheels for the 03-04 Cobras without question. They fit the style so well and size up appropriately from stock. We'll done, good sir.

I know a lot of people use those wheels but in the 18’s the car looks so good! I look forward to seeing the transformation.

My God! I’ve wanted these wheels for a long time! They look killer!!

I was a little anxious about what wheels you picked, but when you revealed them I was stoked! I had stock chrome 17s on my Cobra, and did the 10.5 replicas on the rear. I love clean stock wheels, nostalgia from dreaming about these cars when I was a kid.

I’d roll the rear inner fenders, even w/o the spacers. It’s just added peace of mind so you don’t cut a tire on a big compression. You’ve gone this far, Jakob, might as well do 😅 Looking good.

Using those mm plates for the maximum amount of positive caster really helps with the numb steering that the new edges had factory. I think factory specs is 4.5 to 5° for AGT where if you look at cars that are notoriously good at handling like the fdrx7 or C5 Corvette they are 7.5 to 9°. The closer you get to that the better the car steers

I had a black Terminator with the same wheels (17’s). I had deep dish in the back with 305 MT ET Streets. Those were great tires for that setup. I had a ported Eaton so around 500rwhp.

The crappy aluminum Steeda Tri-Ax wore out in less than 50, 000 on my '04 Mach 1. I don't drag race and I don't do burn outs. It had a horrible vibration at 4, 000 RPM under load. Replaced it with an MGW. Better shifting than a new Tri-Ax, no vibrations and much less noise.

This is basically my DREAM cobra, except in metallic red

Love the changes but personally I'd raise it up like a half inch all around its a bit too flush for my liking but if Jakub likes it then rock that my boy. She came out gorgeous!
