I think they should create a series which can revolve around the mainline 3D games such as Forces, generations and Frontiers and they can adapt a storyline from different moments in Sonic's life including Shadows backstory...and the Chaotix...Sonic X was the longest standing series to date and hopefully after the movie they'll have a foresight of how they can combine the right universe to create TV franchise.

Hopefully when the next Sonic cartoon, or possibly anime, they’ll have Shadow be more prominent than in Prime. I love that version so much, but like everyone else, I wish he was more involved than being mostly an observer who only got into a few fights.

When it happens, more badass Shadow, please.

I would enjoy a 2D or anime adpation and continuation of the Storybook series with Season 1 being an adaption of the Secret Rings, and each season follows with a new book. Black Knight could be season 2 or reserved for a future series. Plus, it doesn't have to be just Sonic. There could be a season when Sonic and Tails or Knuckles end up in the story.

This way, you could have a long-running series that people can jump in at any new season. An excuse to provide a port, remaster, or remake of the storybook games (if people wanted that) and sell new merch for each season.

Have the show be true to what it promises. Prime promised a multiverse, it gave us just five worlds. The Knuckles series promised us Knuckles, it gave us more of a human side character nobody really cares about.
