We do know why those boomerangs weren't designed to return. They never were designed to return until people started using them for sport and leisure. There was no need for return when they were mainly used as weapons of war and hunting, which has been most of its existence.

Just me, but the man, the constuction staff who found Dragon Man's skull is a hero. That skull could probably have been destroyed and a branch of acheological study could have never been found without him.

About the modern boomerangs ..they only return to the thrower if you didn't hit your target! Maybe those people were much better hunters with much better hitting capabilities and those boomerangs were lost after they bounced off of the targets they took down! Having bounced off they may have not been retrieved as they were easy to make and the thrower concentrated on the game, not the boomerang! Just a thought!

The Medes partnered with the Persians about 540 bc. Together, they brought down the Babylonian empire. I imagine they merged societies.

I think it's funny that most people think that ancient man was primitive and barbaric. When its been discovered that he was anything but

What I get from ppl in my family when I try to discuss our ancient past is laughter and that I'm wasting time questioning. All in which believe in God and basically anything that happen before Jesus died doesn't matter. The only time science is in there favor is when they need to go to the hospital.

this is an interesting video I especially like the 5000 year old sword found in this monastery in which it should not belong.

With the discovery of the”Golden City” built by Amenhotep III and dedicated to Aten, it is clear that the monotheistic concept was held in the Dynastic Pharaohs 18th Dynasty long before Akhenaten. Possibly as far back as Kamose and. Ahmose circa 1575.-1500 BCE.

Media, Medes.
A people descended from Japheth’s son Madai; they settled in the mountainous Iranian plateau that became the country of Media. (Their history of 630-530ish BCE) The Medes joined with Babylon to defeat Assyria. At that time, Persia was a province under Media, but Cyrus revolted and Media was merged with Persia to form the Medo-Persian Empire that defeated the Neo-Babylonian Empire in 539 B.C.E. Medes were present in Jerusalem at Pentecost in 33 C.E (Daniel, Esther, Ezra, gives more detail of the luxious media culture as well as parts of 2chronicles and 2kings)
