These features can be found in a variety of vehicles in the domestic market, including hatchbacks, sedans, compact SUVs, and multi-purpose vehicles. To make an analogy between ABS and EBD, let us try to understand both topics in different ways.

If you slam on the brakes for too long in a car without an anti-lock braking system, one or more of the wheels will lock up and stop turning before the car comes to a halt. When a wheel starts to drag or skid, the driver has effectively lost control of the vehicle.
