Jordan Peterson Gets Joe Rogan TO ADMIT Christian Truth

Jordan Peterson sat down for another conversation with Joe Rogan and at one point Peterson explains the cross and Christs crucifixion in a way that Joe Rogan admits he's never heard it taught like this before... and I agree with Joe.

I grew up being taught religion and I don't think I've ever missed a Sunday mass, but was never taught or thought about what it means at the level that Peterson offers here. Rogan says here that most Christians probably don't think about the cross this way, they only think that Jesus died for us and we're saved and that's it...

I'm not saying that isn't true, but it's a shallow perspective and it’s shallow language that right now falls on dead ears and isn't winning anyone over. Depth, mystery, and meaning wins over, it's what we're all desperate for in this day and age, and there is nothing deeper than what Peterson explains here

"pick up your cross & follow me..."
&
"he who would lose his life, will save it!"

Absolutely brilliant, the way Jordan ties these major Christian themes together with simpler, clearer language that brings a fresh revelation to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

The reason we haven't heard this before is because we weren't listening to the prophets of the age. Not everyone has the gift of Jordan Peterson for language and psychological explanation. He explains things in a very unique manner. This is God - given.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

What Christ endured to save mankind, now and forever, is ineffable. To think that He wanted us to be with Him again so greatly, that he endured the worst pain, psychological torture, humiliation, and so on crushes the soul almost completely. Christianity is not about religion, it’s about the relationship we have with the Christ Jesus. It’s amazing to think that as we grow closer to Jesus and understand the meaning of His sacrifice, it stops being just profound for us but becomes divine. Amen.

JP doesn't struggle to find the things to say. He struggles to find the way to say things so normal people can easily digest them and receive them meaningfully.

Jordan is such a masterful genius of communication. I'm riveted by his ability to convey concepts with such accuracy and fluidity. When he done speaking, you absolutely see what he was saying, regardless of the complications of vocabulary. He is amazing.

when you live under a cross with Christ, life is in Christ!

Respectfully, I think the title of the video is a little hyperbolic. "Jordan Peterson gets Joe Rogan to say 'Hmm, I never thought of it like that' ", would be more accurate.

Peterson points out one of the pitfalls that Protestants step into that Bonhoeffer called "cheap grace". As Christians, we're learning what we must give up to follow Christ, and ultimately, it's everything.

As a Mexican Catholic (living in Mexico), this approach is very common subject in the sermons by priests at mass, specially in the " Holy Week", its all about sacrifice .. And catholic priests also add this: " The sacrifice and suffer is not forever", once a Priest told me this: "Do you know how long the crucifixion process of Jesus lasted? From the moment he was arrested until he was crucified it was around 8 to 10 hours, no suffering is eternal, and you should know it for when there is a very great pain in you, and you do not want to let it go "

I am praying and believing that Joe Rogan will get saved and become born again! I’m praying that hundreds of thousands will come to know Jesus because Joe Rogan gets saved and others will see God’s love through Joe.

i am not a Christian, Catholic or part of any religion per say. However I will say this is a beautiful way to interpret such an important event to so many. I have finally built some form of a relationship with who I now call god. But I really just wanted to say this idea to me is a huge factor in how society kept moving forward. By sacrificing parts of your life for the better of others.

I have been Christian since childhood and I knew about what Jordan presents. I’ve heard many homilies on the very topic. Do not underestimate the depth of understanding we have. Christianity is a world view that is re-examined and re-explained every Sunday by its adherents.
